What if Spiderman lived in a town near you?
Sony wanted to really amplify their social efforts for The Amazing Spiderman beyond traditional movie assets. So we developed a freshapproach to their social by imagining what if Spiderman lived in our world. We tied Spidey in to the real world by integrating him in real time to current events, weather, sports and social conversations. We developed wild postings around the theme asking whether Spiderman was a hero or villain, enlisting support from local businesses to tie him into their physical space.. Spidey eats for FREE! The campaign netted 1000X engagement with our posts over the standard movie marketing content.
